Freelance Project- Little Paws Guesthouse

The brief was to create logos that include a similar dog to the clients own and also, with their increasing popularity, a pug. I first sketched the designs on paper before scanning in the images and live tracing them. I created various objects to feature in the logo behind the focus image being the cartoon dog, including an ice lolly and a beach umbrella, before finalising with a bucket and spade. The client appreciated this logo design for the likeliness of the cartoon dog that I created to their own pet. 

The other part of the brief, to create a logo that features a pug, was to give the client the option of choosing between the dog stylised like their own and the other of a popular breed of dog. As with the other logo design I scanned in the original sketch and built up the developed logo from there, using various tools  such as the 'Brush Tool' 'Direct Selection Tool' and the 'Live Paint Bucket' to create the finished logo.
