Unit 1 Logo Designs

Logo designs for Unit 1 brand: Picnic Box. I first sketched a range of logo designs for my chosen brand name 'Picnic Box', I then began designing them on Adobe Illustrator using an array of tools including the 'Drawing Tool' to create the rectangle shape and the 'Direct Selection Tool' to distort the shape into the basket shape I required. I then created the individual fruit vectors using the same technique with the manipulation of various shapes.
Further designs for the brand Picnic Box. Again I used Adobe Illustrator to create the logos, which compose of both vectors and text. The image shows variations of two logo designs. The first purely text, with the use of the letter 'b' to form the 'i' in the word 'picnic', this was to create the sense of flow and continuity within the logo. I experimented with a range of colours before finalizing on the three pictured above, which were chosen with the use of packaging in mind. The next logo design with two variations features just the brand names initials with different vector images within the letters. The first variation consisting of various vector fruit, such as apple, pear and orange. The next variation involves the vectors of orange segments within the letters, again like the other vector images created, they were completed using the 'Drawing Tool' and the 'Direct Selection Tool' to achieve the desired shapes. I also experimented with the position of the vectors within the letters on both variations alongside experimentation of the different font types.
